After completing our storyboards using still taken from a phone conversation, we began to use the script from the same video to create out own phone call conversation. First off we started creating storyboards, showing what shot decisions and camera movements we wanted to use. By using a story board we can see what we would like to reference when filming as to the vision of the director and cinematographer.

We explained what the storyboards were showing in the captions below the panels.
Next we created a shot list based off of our storyboard. This showed what shot and scene it is, what shot size and angle it is, what camera movement is used, is it an interior or exterior scene, what time of the day is it, a description of the shot and if there is any notes on it. This goes through all the shots used.

After creating a storyboard, we began filming and tried to stick to the storyboard and shot list however due to logistics a few things were changed.
We were asked to create a short scenario using a script. Using the script, as a group we created a shotlist and storyboard, making sure to include everybodys ideas and discuss what would be best for the scenario. As a group we followed a similar routine of assigning individual roles to everyone in the group, these being; two actors, director, cinematographer and a sound co-ordinator. We worked well together by sharing thoughts and ideas towards the project. By doing this we each suggested what role in the project we would each be interested in doing and what we could work on.
By creating our phone call conversation scenario clip, we tried a new concept of filming and editing on the basis that we merged two sets of different locations and conversation - and keep it seamless. This relies on maintaining camera angles and shot decisions, location and timings. One difficulty that we found whilst creating our conversation would be the location. We decided to film one character outside to show a big difference in location to really differentiate the two characters. However, this then meant that we had to consider factors like the weather and lighting. One of the biggest challenges that I personally feel like I struggled with would be editing the clips together to get them to run smoothly in sequence, following the script and story. If I was to change anything it would be to make the shots clearer and to work on my acting skills to make the scene natural and not awkward.
I would say as a group we successfully completed the task that was asked and worked well together. I enjoyed communicating with my group the most as we all got a say in what shots would work well in the sequence and what it could mean to the scenario. I found filming the most frustrating as we decided to film in relatively busy areas so there was often people working around in the background or making noise.
