Notes for my script structure.

Points

• Coming of age drama

• Protagonist is a teenage girl sitting her GCSEs

• Wants to get into a specific course but has not had the past grades to get in.

• Has some sort of panic attack/anxiety attack in an exam

• Everyone tells her she will be fine but she's not convinced.

• Beginning is her working at the kitchen table.

• Side characters are her mum and potentially a friend, keeping it minimal to focus on the main character and how she might feel lonely.

• Conflict is not getting the correct grades.

Locations

• School - characters doing revision and exams (table, classroom, exam hall)

• Home - bedroom, kitchen, hallway

• City - Cambridge.

• Outside - walking to school

Three act structure ideas

• Hook could be her stressing over exams or needing certain grades to get onto the course she wants to do.

• Inciting incident could be her failing past exams.

• Mid point could be a panic attack in an exam.

• Climax could be her becoming emotional prior to results day.

• Ending is her receiving her results.
